A Long & Winding Road
There are budget options here, and if you like quaint little mountain villages like Villa la Angostura, then you should make your way here. The town is situated on a small bay at the eastern end of Lago Lacar and when you’re arriving here by bus, car, or bike, you should stop a few kilometres out of town for a breather and absorb the view. The setting is serene. First impressions of the town are that it’s well organized, with tree-lined boulevards setting the town’s standards. You won’t see high-rise monstrosities like in Bariloche, as they’ve set maximum building limits, and the majority of the shops cater to an entirely different public. Designer clothes, shoes, boots, watches and saddles can be bought here! The Guru Team |
