Which is just perfect for exploring one of the most popular Argentine regions and the city itself. It is best to visit from April to September. Argentina was first populated through this region, leaving traces from many different migration waves. As a result, we are left today with the colonial architecture, specifically the cathedral and central square, as is the case with most Argentine cities. It is the dramatic change in scenery that draws people in to what is commonly known as "the garden of the republic".
